In 1988, M&M bought the Newfoundland operation of Vetco
Gray Canada, Inc., now called ABB Vetco Gray Canada Inc., a large international company
which provides specialized equipment and services to the oil industry. M&M signed a
technology license, Manufacturing and Machinery Sale Agreement with ABB Vetco-Gray was
recently awarded a multi-million dollar contract for the production phase of the Hibernia
Oil Development Project, and M&M is a participant in that contract.
